Late October of 2018 after over ten hours flying from Guangzhou a three-member team from probecom had arrived at Kinshasa, capital of DRC, it was a rainy season, the air was fresh and road clean, on driving to hotel we see crowded people by the road.

It was a forty minutes drive; the day next we start to travel to site locations start our work; we are invited to perform a investigation of earth station antennas around this DRC. First one was a very big one, has been there over forty years, even the manufacturer was shut off their factory, antenna is still standing there, elevation motor is not working, Az. motor was still in good condition, jack rod were kept in good condition, reflector back structure was kept in good condition, however need to be refurbished. LNB SSPA antenna control system and ADU also need to be replaced, not too bad, we still can repair this big antenna, and it still can be reused.

Second and third one were totally destroyed, could not to be repaired at all, we strongly recommend installing a new and smaller with lower price.

Once again when we were in DRC which remind me my first trip to this country one year ago, when I came to install a brand new 6.2M Ku band earth station antenna and 7.3M earth station antenna it was a duration of 10 days installation time in this country. Not far from the capital. Thanks to our local client so that we almost faced no problem at all during the installation work there.

It was a wonderful work experience to work in DRC install Probecom ground satellite antenna and it is entirely my honor to pay second visit to the same place. Probecom will take me go to the world, and we are on the way to pay the third time visit to install new antenna in DRC.
