Probecom 1.2m C Band Flyaway Antenna New Version

Low efficiency and badly side lobe are the tag for 1.2m C band antenna, But due to the low rain attenuation, They are still some user needed it. We get an order from the customer, the below is the keys point parameters:

Antenna size:1.2m

Material of antenna reflector： Carbon fiber

Work frequency: Rx：3.625-4.2Ghz  Tx ：5.85- 6.425Ghz

Pol：Circular

As we all know, the length of the circular polarization diplexer is relatively long. If we connect it behind the feed system, the feed will affect the range of El Angle.

So our engineers made an optimization, and the first version was to move the circular polarizer forward, and we do a test. We found that the structural problem is solved, but the new problem of fixed feed is coming.

We organize meetings of structural design engineers, RF engineers, and production departments to discuss further optimization programs. After discussion, Our team proposed an integrated design idea of polarizer + feed.
