iDirect Reveals Details of New Saudi Link-Up

Detecon Al Saudia, a provider of telecommunication and IT services to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, is launching a new geo-redundant satellite service in Saudi Arabia. iDirect has played a key role in the launch of this new service, and announced details of the link-up May 24.
Detecon Al Saudia purchased and installed two iDirect series 15100 universal satellite hubs, one at its existing tier III+ datacenter facility in Riyadh and the other at a new backup datacenter in Jeddah. The network is designed to provide critical data communications backup for financial institutions, corporations, government agencies and military organizations.
