ULA Prepares For NROL-37 Launch For US National Defense

  ULA is preparing for yet another launch. NROL-37 launch is scheduled for June 9 and will be for the National Reconnaissance Office for the US' national defense.


  The ULA Delta IV NROL-37 launch is scheduled for June 9 from Space Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The spacecraft, launch vehicle and support systems are ready to support the launch.


  • Rocket/Payload: A United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy will launch the NROL-37 mission for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

  • Date/Site/Launch Time: Thursday, June 9, 2016, from Space Launch Complex (SLC)-37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.

  • Mission Description: The mission will be launched for the National Reconnaissance Office in support of national defense.

  • Launch Notes: NROL-37 will be the 32nd Delta IV mission since the vehicle’s inaugural launch in 2002, and the 10th NRO mission to launch on Delta IV.
